Description
Whitefriars is an 18th-century house that has been converted into a convent. It is two storeys tall with an attic and features five windows, along with two hipped dormers. The building is constructed of red brick and has a brick string course, as well as a wooden eaves cornice. The roof is hipped and tiled. The windows on the ground floor have segmental heads and previously included wooden shutters. A notable feature is the doorway, which is adorned with fluted Doric pilasters, a triglyph frieze, a pediment, and a round-headed arch. The door itself consists of six fielded panels and has five small panes of glass arranged in a fan-like design at the top.
