Description

This coach house and stabling building dates to around 1850. The ground floor is constructed of red brick, while the first floor is timber-framed and clad in weather boarding, with a slate roof. The building is one storey with a loft. The roadside gable features a boarded loft door, and the ground floor has boarded carriage doors, along with a boarded, segmentally-headed window opening. A partly rebuilt red brick wall, approximately 5 feet high, with a boarded gate, links the coach house to the nearby St Anne’s Cross Public House, to which it originally served as the coach house. The interior has not been inspected.
