Description
Culnells is a 17th-century farmhouse located on School Lane in Iwade. It is constructed of red brick in English bond with a plain tiled roof and features a lobby entry plan. The building stands two storeys high on a plinth and has a plat band and a coved eaves cornice beneath a hipped roof. There are stacks located to the left and at the end right of the structure. The fenestration is irregular, with three sash windows and one wooden casement on the first floor, and three sash windows along with one blocked window opening on the ground floor, all featuring gauged heads. There are half-glazed doors to the right and another door to the left within a gabled porch. The rear elevation includes a red brick English bond lean-to, while the rear wall is partly plastered timber frame.
