Description
Sweden Sykes is a 17th-century farmhouse located on Little Langton Moor Lane. It is constructed of red brick in English garden wall bond and features a concrete tile roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, with a single-storey bay on the left and a central rear wing.
The entrance consists of a four-panel door situated between the first and second bays. There are three 3-light casement windows, each with six panes and flat brick arches, along with a blocked fire window to the left of the first bay. On the first floor, there is a central 12-pane side-sliding sash window, with a 24-pane side-sliding sash window on either side and another blocked fire window to the left of the first bay. The farmhouse has stepped eaves and brick stacks at the ends.
The lower bay on the left has a 20th-century door to the left and a 3-light side-sliding sash window with six panes to the right, along with stepped eaves and a stack at the left end.
