Description

Ivy Cottage is a house dating from around 1700. It is constructed of red brick and has a plain tiled roof. The building stands two storeys high with an attic, resting on a plinth that features a plat band and a coved eaves cornice. There are two hipped dormers and chimney stacks at both ends of the house. The windows are arranged regularly, with five wooden casements on the first floor and four on the ground floor, all featuring gauged heads. The central door consists of six raised and fielded panels, topped with a rectangular fanlight and covered by a hipped hood.
