Description
The Holly Bank is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and has a plain tiled roof. The building stands two storeys high with an attic, set on a plinth. It features a plat band and a dentilled cornice along the hipped roof, which has two hipped dormers and chimney stacks on the left and right sides. The windows are arranged regularly, with five glazing bar sash windows on the first floor and four on the ground floor, all featuring blind hoods and gauged heads. The central entrance door has six moulded panels and is topped by a semi-circular fanlight, set within a porch supported by engaged Doric columns, which includes a frieze and a raised cornice.
