Description

No. 57 High Street is a 16th-century cottage pair that has been converted into a house. It features a timber frame and plastered exterior with applied timbering, topped by a plain tiled roof. The left side of the building has one and a half storeys with a jetty and a stack located at the rear left. The right side has two storeys, with a jettied first floor supported by brackets. On the first floor, there are two margin-light sash windows, while the ground floor has three casement windows and a boarded door on the left.
