Description

Church Farmhouse is a 16th-century timber-framed farmhouse situated on the north side of Church Lane in Newington. The building comprises a hall and a cross wing. The hall is of one storey and has an attic, featuring a hipped roof with a gablet and two hipped dormers. A central stack rises from the hall. To the centre-right is a board door flanked by sidelights, within a hipped porch. There are two wooden casements. The cross wing is of one storey and has a garret, with exposed close-studded timber framing, a hipped roof, and a stack to the end on the left. One wooden casement is present on each floor of the cross wing.
