Description

This is a 17th-century barn located 20 yards south of Great Norwood. It features a timber frame set on a brick plinth and is clad with weatherboard. The barn has a hipped roof made of corrugated iron and a shallow sloping central entry. Inside, there are four bays with aisles, passing shores to the arcade posts, and arched bracing to the tie-beams. The roof structure includes clasped purlins with diminished principals and wind bracing.
