Description

Church Farm Cottages is a hall house that has been converted into cottages. It dates back to the 15th century, with extensions added in the 17th century and cladding completed in the 19th century. The building features a timber frame covered in white brick and has a plain tile roof. It is two storeys high with hipped roofs, including a hipped projecting wing to the right and end stacks on the left, which are positioned at ground level. There is a panelled and glazed door located to the centre left of the front. Inside, the cottage retains a smoke blackened crown post roof and a fireplace bressumer that bears the inscription: G + 1 + 6 + 0 + 5 + T.
