Description

The Training Ship Hasarde is a 15th-century timber-framed building that was originally old town warehouses and is now used as a training ship. The first floor overhangs, supported by the protruding ends of the floor joists and brackets. The ground floor features close-studding, while the upper floor has large panels of timber-framing. The building has projecting eaves and a tiled roof with a pentice on the east side. Some original door and window openings, along with original plaster infilling, have been exposed during recent restoration work.
