Description

This is a pair of houses dating from the early 19th century, located on the north side of Boughtong Street. The houses are constructed of red brick with mathematical tiles, some areas having been repaired with yellow mathematical tiles. They have a slate roof, a plinth, and a moulded wooden eaves cornice. The roofs are hipped, with a chimney stack to the rear left. The windows are arranged regularly, featuring three glazing bar sashes with blind hoods on the first floor, and two sashes on the ground floor, all with painted surrounds. The central double doorcase features two doors of six moulded panels, margin light sidelights, rectangular fanlights, and a cornice hood supported by Ionic columns. Attached columns and pilasters decorate the door surrounds in an irregular arrangement.
