Description

Wheelwright House is a house dating from the 16th century, which was refaced in the 18th century. It has a timber frame that is clad with painted brick and features a plain tiled roof. The building is two storeys high and has a discontinuous plat band along with a moulded eaves cornice at the roof, which has a stack at the left end. On the first floor, there are three wooden casements with three lights each, while the ground floor has a glazing bar bay window to the left and a large recessed shallow bay to the right. The central entrance door consists of six raised and fielded panels and is topped with a flat hood.
