Description

Oak Lodge is an early 19th-century house located on the south side of Boughton Street in Boughton. The house is faced with yellow mathematical tiles and has a slate roof. It is a two-storey building featuring a moulded dentilated eaves cornice to a hipped roof, with chimney stacks to the rear left and right. The windows have a regular arrangement, with 3 glazing bar sashes on the first floor and 2 on the ground floor, all with painted gauged heads. The central front door consists of 6 raised and fielded panels, topped by a traceried semi-circular fanlight and an open pediment supported by fluted Ionic columns. The left return side of the house is weather boarded. A hipped rear wing is also present.
