Description

No. 2 Middle Row is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall and features two windows. The upper two storeys are constructed of red brick with flat arches, while the ground floor is made of stone rubble. The building has dressed stone quoins and a string course. The ground floor includes a window and a door, both adorned with architraves and stepped voussoirs made of dressed stone. The windows are fitted with glazing bars, and there is a flush panelled door. This building was once used as the town prison.
