Description

Holbeam Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with cladding added in 1728. It features a timber frame that is covered with painted brick, and the right side is tile hung. The building has a plain tiled roof and consists of two parallel ranges with a lobby entry plan. It stands two storeys high on a plinth, with a plat band and a hipped roof that has a central left stack. There are three sash windows on each floor, and an outshot to the left with one sash window. A ribbed door is located to the centre left within a gabled porch. Above the door, there is a plaque with the inscription: 1K7. The interior reveals the visible frame.
