Description

Primrose House is a house dating from the 17th century, which was later re-clad in the 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is clad in painted brick, with a plain tiled roof. The house has two storeys, set upon a plinth with a plat band, box eaves, and projecting stacks on the left and right sides. The front has five 19th-century glazing bar sash windows on the first floor, and four on the ground floor, with gauged heads. The inner two ground floor windows have rubbed brickwork. The central door is made of six fielded panels and has a flat hood supported by brackets.
