Description

Chantries is a house dating from the 16th century. It features a timber frame that is exposed, with plaster infill, and is underbuilt with painted brick. The roof is covered with plain tiles and is hipped. The building consists of two framed bays and has two storeys. The roof has a stack located at the rear left. The fenestration is irregular, with four wooden casements on the first floor and two on the ground floor. There is a 20th-century plank and stud door located to the centre right, along with two brick buttresses to the left.
