Description

The Greeting is a house that has been converted into three cottages. It dates from the 16th century and 19th century. The building features a timber frame that is clad with painted brick and weatherboard, topped with a plain tiled roof. It has been extended with flint and red brick, also with plain tiled roofs. The original timber-framed range has three projecting wings that were initially at the rear but now face the entrance. The structure is two storeys high with a half-hipped roof and has stacks located to the centre left and the end right. Each of the three projecting two-storey hipped wings contains wooden casements on both floors and one boarded door. The interior reveals the visible frame.
