Description
Tong Cottage is a house dating from the 16th century, with alterations made in the 18th century. It features a timber frame that is exposed with plaster infill, while the return and rear fronts are partly tile hung and partly clad with flint and brick. The roof is plain tiled, hipped to the right and half-hipped to the left, with a gablet. The building consists of three framed bays and stands two storeys high on a flint plinth, showcasing large panel framing and a continuous jetty. There are three wooden casements on each floor, a boarded door to the right, and a blocked door frame in the centre.
