Description

This barn, located 30 metres north of South Hill Farmhouse, dates from the 17th century and was extended in the 18th century. It features a timber frame on a brick base, is weather boarded, and has a hipped roof covered in corrugated iron. The interior consists of three bays with a single aisle, showcasing arched braces and a renewed clasped purlin roof. The barn was extended by one bay at both ends during the 18th century. It is included in the listing for its group value with South Hill Farmhouse.
