Description
White Lodge is a small Regency-style lodge, dating to the early 19th century. It was originally situated at the entrance to Chipstead Place. The lodge has a stucco exterior and a Welsh slate roof with eaves and gutter. A dentilled moulded pediment tops the building. It features round-headed sash windows with bars. A panelled door is set beneath a flat segmental arch with an architrave surround. An ornamental, derelict early 19th-century panelled wooden gateway stands nearby, featuring lion heads in the centre.
