Description

The stable buildings located to the north-west of the Rose and Crown Public House date from the early to mid-19th century. The main building is a single-storey structure with an attic, featuring a moderately low-pitched slated roof. Its walls are made of flint, accented with alternating blocks of red brick. There is a double door on the left side and a single door on the right, with a casement window situated between them. A loading door is located under the gable that breaks the eaves. Adjacent to this is a second one-storey building, also weatherboarded and with a similar roof. Additionally, there is a short length of wall made of flint rubble, topped with sloped and chamfered red brick coping, extending from the north-west corner of the second building to the road. These structures are listed for their group value with the Rose and Crown Public House.
