Description

No. 118 on Main Road is a timber-framed cottage dating from the 17th century or earlier. It has two storeys and features one window, along with a left extension that has a single window. The cottage has a high-pitched, gable-ended tiled roof. The first floor is tile hung, while the ground floor is constructed of red brick with a pattern of blue headers. The windows are early 19th century sash windows with vertical bars, and there is a six-panel door. The remains of a jettied first floor can be seen at the back of the building.
