Description

Bradbourne Farmhouse, dating circa 1700, is a two-story, five-window facade building situated on Bradbourne Vale Road. The house has a hipped tiled roof with two flat-roofed leaded dormers. It is constructed of red brick with blue headers, featuring a coursed stone plinth and a painted brick band above the ground floor windows. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars in moulded exposed frames. A central panelled door is accessed by two moulded stone steps and is topped by a fanlight with tracery. The doorcase is flanked by rounded pilasters supporting an open dentilled pediment. Panelled reveals surround the doorcase. A distinctive feature is the heavy, projecting, moulded modillioned eaves and gutter.
