Description
No. 6, Amherst Hill is a building of probable 17th-century origin, constructed of painted brick with a painted stone plinth. It is a two-storey building with two gables connected by a ridge tile roof. A painted brick band runs above the ground floor windows and above the first floor window of the right-hand gable. The central entrance features a panelled door with top glazing. There are two casement windows on each floor. A brick chimney stack is shared with the adjacent No. 8.
