Description

Chart Cottage is a 16th century or earlier timber-framed cottage located in Seal Styants Bottom. It is a two-story, four-window building with a high-pitched tiled roof, hipped on the left side. The cottage has been considerably altered and extended over time. The first floor is tile-hung, while the ground floor is constructed of random rubble masonry with red brick dressings. Modern square-paned casement windows are present. Remains of a jetty are visible at the west end.
