Description
The former stables, located about 60 metres south-east of The Bridge House, date from the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are constructed of red and grey brick in Flemish bond and feature a plain tile roof. The building is oriented at right angles to the road and stands two storeys high with a hipped roof. A projecting red and grey brick chimney stack is located at the rear gable end. The long right side has two leaded round-headed two-light casements, while the left side appears to have no windows on the first floor. There is a boarded loading door on the first floor next to the stack at the rear gable end. The right side has two ground-floor doors with segmental heads and a lean-to with stable doors towards the rear. The interior has not been inspected. The building is included for its group value.
