Description

LOWER ROAD TQ 75 SW EAST FARLEIGH (North Side) 2/54 The Limes 23.5.67 GV II House. C17 with C20 alterations. Timber framed. Exposed framing with raised rendered infilling to ground floor, weatherboarded first floor. Lobby entry plan. 2 storeys and garret on stone plinth. Rectangular panelling of 2 panels per storey to ground floor. Moulded fillet to base of weatherboarding. Half-hipped roof. Central rendered ridge stack. Regular 3-window front of large 2-light later C20 leaded metal casements. Central later C20 glazed dour under C20 porch, replacing door of 6 fielded panels in moulded architrave with flat bracketed hood. Timber-framed lean-to to left. Interior not inspected.
