Description
The School House, originally the schoolmaster's house, was built in 1855 by J. Clarke. It is constructed from uncoursed ragstone and features a plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and includes slightly projecting corbelled gable end stacks on the first floor, which have gault brick flues. To the right of the centre, there is a projecting two-storey stone porch with a short stone chimney rising from the gable and swept eaves. The windows are arranged irregularly, with three 2-light casements, one of which is set within a pointed-arched recess in the porch. Similar windows are found on the ground floor. A boarded door is located towards the right side of the porch, framed by a chamfered pointed-arched stone architrave.
