Description

This is a late 18th-century house located on the east side of Goddington Lane in Harrietsham. It is constructed of chequered red and grey brick, with the upper half of the first floor built of plain red brick in a Flemish bond pattern. The roof is tiled, and the building sits upon a stone plinth with a dentilled brick cornice. There are red brick end stacks. The windows are arranged regularly, featuring three glazing-bar sashes in open boxes. Two late 19th-century canted bay windows have been added to the ground floor. A central 20th-century panelled door, with a rectangular top light and flat corniced hood, provides access. A lower, two-storey 19th-century extension is attached to the left side. The interior of the house has not been inspected. The building is of group value, contributing to the character of the area.
