Description
32 West Street is a house dating from the first half of the 18th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond with occasional grey headers and has a plain tile roof. The house is set back from the road and features two storeys and a basement on a stone plinth, along with a moulded wood eaves cornice and a half-hipped roof. There is a projecting red brick stack at the left end.
The front of the house has a regular arrangement of three windows, which are glazing-bar sashes set in open boxes, with the central window being narrower. The ground floor windows have segmental heads, and there is a central door with six vertical panels that is accessed by two steps. To the right, there is a basement window with a segmental head. At the rear, there is a lean-to and a short wing to the right. The house is now linked with No. 30 to the left. The interior has not been inspected.
