Description
Yew Tree Cottage is a house dating from the 16th century. It has a timber frame and is pebbledashed, topped with a plain tile roof. The building is two storeys high and features a continuous jetty, with brackets that divide the elevation into four sections. The roof is hipped to the left with a gablet and half-hipped to the right. There is a multiple brick ridge stack towards the right end of the left-central bay and a slender projecting stack at the right end. The cottage has irregular fenestration, consisting of two 2-light casements. There is a ribbed door located under the stack, which has moulded wooden jambs and a 20th-century head. A rear lean-to is also present. The interior has not been inspected.
