Description

This barn, located about 150 metres south of Beech Farmhouse, dates from the 15th or early 16th century. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, topped with a plain tile roof. The structure features five timber-framed bays and a central midstrey, with a gabled design. There are doors on the east gable end. Inside, the barn retains its 15th or early 16th-century framing, which includes plain crown-posts with head-braces and eccentric foot braces, as well as lath and daub infilling above the midrail.
