Description
Broad Halfpenny and The Cabin is a pair of houses dating from the mid-to-late 18th century. The ground floor is constructed of red and grey brick in Flemish bond, while the first floor is weatherboarded. The building features a plain tile roof and stands two storeys high with an attic. It has a gambrel roof with half-hipped gable ends and projecting gable end stacks. There are two barely-projecting dormers and a regular two-window front consisting of three-light casements, positioned towards the gable ends. The centre of the front has two adjoining half-glazed doors, which are sheltered by flat bracketed hoods. At the rear, there is a lean-to. The interior has not been inspected.
