Description

This is a table tomb dating from the mid-18th century, located about 4 metres south of the Church of All Saints in Ulcombe. It is made of stone and sits on a stone base, featuring a moulded plinth and a corniced lid. The tomb has moulded side pilasters with gadrooned bases and fielded panels. The south side is inscribed in memory of the wife of John Earl, who died in 1769, while the north side is inscribed for John Earl, who died in 1782. The inscription was barely legible at the time of the last survey.
