Description
Coomb Hill Farmhouse is a building that likely dates from the 16th century. It is timber-framed and features a central chimney stack along with two inglenook fireplaces. The exterior is half-timbered and rendered, with weatherboarded walls on the north and west ends. The house is L-shaped, standing two storeys tall with attics, and has a tiled roof with bonnet hips. There is a single-storey rustic addition from the 19th century at the southern end, as well as modern lean-to additions on the west side. The windows are casement style, with some featuring leaded lights. Inside, the farmhouse boasts massive timber beams and a staircase from the 17th century.
