Description

Forge Cottage is a 16th century timber-framed "hall" house featuring plaster panels and curved braces. The building has been partially rebuilt in brick, with a buttress located at the south-east angle. It has a hipped tiled roof and casement windows. The original windows on the first floor include wood mullions and leaded lights. There is a 20th century gabled wooden porch added to the structure.
