Description
Boughurst Farmhouse is a 15th-century Wealden house. The ground floor is brick-faced, while the first floor is tile-hung. A northern extension has a flint-faced ground floor. The roof is tiled and hipped, featuring a crown post. The windows are modern casements. A central chimney stack contains inglenooks. Internally, a massive moulded cross beam survives, bearing carpenter's marks indicating where timbers are framed into it.
