Description
Ivy House is a 16th-century timber-framed building that has been cased in brick and flint during the 19th century. The structure is L-shaped and features a single-storey 19th-century stable wing at the rear, along with a modern single-storey kitchen located in the angle of the L. The roof is gabled and tiled. A gabled porch is present, flanked by sash windows that have glazing bars. Inside, the original timber beams and posts of the framing are exposed, and there is an early 19th-century chimney piece in the front room on the ground floor.
