Description

Owls Castle is a 16th-century timber-framed "hall" house that was encased in red brick with grey headers in the 18th century when it operated as an inn. It features a hipped thatched roof with a pentice at the west end of the south front. The building has a mix of casement windows and sash windows with glazing bars. Much of the original timber framing is exposed internally.
