Description

Black Cottage Farmhouse is a 17th-century or earlier timber-framed cottage. It was originally timber-framed, but is now faced with tarred weatherboarding laid upon a brick base. The cottage is two storeys high and has a hipped thatched roof with a pentice behind. There are two casement windows, and a simple doorcase.
