Description
Cherry Tree House is an 18th-century house that was restored in the 20th century. The ground floor is made of red brick laid in stretcher bond, while the first floor is tile-hung. It has a plain tile roof and stands two storeys tall. On the left side, there is a large projecting shouldered stack made of red brick with some grey bricks in Flemish bond and a rebuilt flue. There is also a ridge stack at the right gable end. The house features two broad gabled dormers and a regular arrangement of windows, including two three-light casements and a central bulls-eye window. The central entrance has a boarded door with a plain bracketed hood. To the left, there is a short two-storey wing with the ground floor in red brick laid in Flemish bond and the first floor tile-hung, also topped with a plain tile roof. At the rear, there is an integral lean-to. The interior has not been inspected.
