Description
Old Hall Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 17th century or possibly earlier, with alterations made in the early 19th century. It is constructed from chequered red and grey brick and has a plain tile roof. The building has two storeys set on a brick plinth with a plat band. The roof is hipped, featuring a gablet on the left side. A large multiple red brick chimney stack is positioned well down the front slope of the roof, off-centre to the left.
The windows display an irregular arrangement, consisting of three 2-light casements, with the ground-floor windows featuring segmental heads. There is a blocked window located beneath the chimney stack. The entrance includes a panelled door with two top lights, situated beneath the stack and sheltered by a plain bracketed hood. To the right, there is a red brick lean-to. On the left gable end, there is a blocked ground-floor window with a segmental head, made from re-used bricks that are dated 1714 and 1741. The interior has not been inspected.
