Description

This is a headstone located about 5 metres east of the chancel in Elmstead. It dates from the mid-18th century and features an undulating shouldered head. The stone is carved with two skulls, two hourglasses, and crossed bones. It is inscribed to Abraham Christian, who died in 1734.
