Description

This farmhouse dates from the 15th or early 16th century, with an early 18th-century facade. It is timber-framed and covered in a chequered pattern of red and grey brick, topped with a plain tile roof. The building has two storeys set on a plinth, featuring a plat band and a slightly coved rendered eaves cornice. The roof is hipped, and there is a multiple brick ridge stack located off-centre to the left. The windows are arranged irregularly, with two 3-light casements on the left and two 2-light casements on the right. A central panelled door is located beneath a simple porch, and there is a lean-to extension at the rear. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is reported to have a crown-post roof.
