Description

Stone Pit Farmhouse is a farmhouse, likely dating to the 17th century or earlier, with a facade that was updated in the late 18th or early 19th century. It is timber-framed with a ground floor of chequered red and grey brick and a first floor covered in tiles. The roof is tiled, hipped, with a gablet to the left. A multiple red brick stack is located to the right of centre. The windows are arranged irregularly, consisting of three casements: two two-light windows to the left of the stack and one three-light window to the right. A boarded door is positioned under the stack, and is sheltered by a flat-consoled hood. There is a short, parallel rear range to the left, with a hipped roof, and a rear lean-to to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
