Description
The Old School House is a house that likely dates from the 16th or 17th century, with a facade added in the late 18th or early 19th century. It is timber-framed, with the ground floor covered in painted brick and the first floor finished with tile-hanging. The building has a plain tile roof and stands two storeys high, featuring a steeply-pitched hipped roof. There is a central multiple brick ridge stack located on the rear slope of the roof. The windows are arranged irregularly and consist of two three-light casements. The entrance features a central ribbed door with non-medieval hollow spandrels. To the left, there is a small single-storey rear addition that was built in the 19th or early 20th century. The interior has not been inspected.
