SANDGATE HIGH STREET (north west side) No 148 (Balcony House)

GV II C18. Three storeys and semi-basement stuccoed. Parapet with stone coping and dropped moulded cornice. Two sashes with glazing bars intact. First floor has later wooden balcony. Left side round-headed doorcase set in arcading and two round-headed sashes also set in arcading. Flight of stone steps to street.

Nos 146-152 (even) form a group. Nos 146 and 152 being buildings of local interest.
