Description

Myrtle House is an 18th-century building located on the northwest side of High Street in Sandgate. It stands three storeys high with a basement and features a stuccoed exterior and a hipped tiled roof. The second floor has a four-light casement window, while the first floor contains two sash windows. On the ground floor, there is a round-headed doorcase set within arcading, accompanied by a three-light sash window also set in arcading. The basement has been modernised with red brick and includes a modern wrought iron balcony. Myrtle House is part of a group with Nos 146-152, with Nos 146 and 152 being buildings of local interest.
